“Carnell” Refinished Kroehler Chest of Drawers

This tallboy 5-drawer chest is painted in grey chalk mineral paint, glazed and shaded in black wax to bring dramatic depth and detail to his façade. The top was sanded down, black-washed to reveal a woodgrain and sealed with four coats of satin top coat. His original hardware makes a statement, sprayed black to create that hand-forged iron appearance.
